College and Career Readiness (2016-2017)

High schools are measured on three areas for College and Career Readiness:

 

Average ACT Composite Score:  The average composite score for eleventh-grade students participating in the State administration of the ACT exam.

 

Credit Sufficiency: The percentage of ninth and tenth-grade students earning adequate credits to move on to the next grade.

  • Ninth-grade students must have earned at least five credits by the last day of the 2016-2017 school year.
  • Tenth-grade students must have earned at least eleven credits by the last day of the 2016-2017 school year.

 

End-of-Course College and Career Readiness:  The percentage of students earning a college and career ready achievement level on the Math I, Math II, ELA I, or ELA II End-of-Course exams.

  • Students earning an achievement level of 3 or higher on the End-of-Course exam are considered College and Career Ready
