English Language Proficiency (2017-2018)

Students participating in the English Language Proficiency Assessment (ELPA) or WIDA, are measured to determine the percentage of English Language Learner students who are meeting their annual growth targets.  Growth targets are set to determine the amount of growth a student needs from year to year in order to become English Language Proficient within five years or by the twelfth grade.

The Nevada School Performance Framework measures the percentage of EL students who are meeting their adequate growth target to become English language proficient.
