11 Aug Ribbon-cutting ceremony showcases expansion of west prep academy

CCSD held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 9 to commemorate the new addition at West Preparatory Institute School for Academic Excellence at Charles I. West Hall (West Prep Academy). The event gave the community a first look at the school’s new single story building featuring 34 elementary school classrooms that are replacing portables, with funds from the 1998 Capital Improvement Program. The CCSD Facilities Division also contributed to the effort by ensuring that school construction was completed on schedule.
