About System Accreditation
The System Accreditation Department supports the mission of the Clark County School District (CCSD) by facilitating the system accreditation process. System accreditation encourages one shared vision of continuous improvement and a common language of improvement to increase efficiency and effectiveness. With this approach, the entire school system is reviewed once per accreditation cycle, yielding unified themes across schools, resulting in coordinated horizontal and vertical progress for all levels of schools and offices rather than having separate evaluations over multiple years and a collection of separate school goals.
System accreditation allows the District to have the expertise of a respected third party to provide insight and support to the system related to the thirty standards used to build common language and practices throughout CCSD. The work is tightly aligned with Strategic Planning and the continuous improvement process.
